Amoxicillin/Potassium Clavulanate treats dogs and cats suffering urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible organisms. It also corrects canine periodontal disease stemming from susceptible strains of bacteria. Indicated for wounds, abscesses, and cellulitis/dermatitis due to susceptible strains of the following organisms: β-lactamase-producing Staphylococcus aureus, non-ßeta-lactamase-producing Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., E. coli, Pasteurella multocida, and Pasteurella spp. as well as urinary tract infections (cystitis) due to susceptible strains of E. coli.

Storage:

Potassium clavulanate is moisture-sensitive, so it should be stored in air-tight containers at less than 24°C (75°F). Reconstituted oral suspensions are stable for 10 days if refrigerated and for 48 hours if kept at room temperature. Solution should be reconstituted by adding water and shaking as directed on the label. Discard unused solution correctly after the suggested time periods (above).
